I am drawn to desert vegetation naturally. This cactus room at the NYC Botanical garden needed to be painted. It took me months to complete, doing a little piece of it daily. This layer is the watercolor/color pencil phase, everything is loose.

Desert details are tiny and plentiful. Each stroke of my micron pens helped define this piece.
